CLEVELAND – If there were any year without a Santa Claus, it would be 2020. But, not even a pandemic can keep the man in the big red suit away.
Safety is a top concern for Santa’s team and that’s especially true when visiting with children in a hospital, who may be more susceptible to illness and infection.
That’s why Santa teamed up with Cleveland Clinic Children’s to come up with a high-tech way to visit some of his biggest, and most vulnerable, supporters — virtually.
“I just love visiting them and bringing the love and everything they need and deserve this time of year,” said Santa Claus. “It’s what Christmas is really all about.”
While Santa is socially distanced in his North Pole workshop, children are able to visit safely – and spend some one-on-one time with ol’ Saint Nick.
Santa says his one wish this Christmas is that everyone remembers to wear a mask to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.
