
Sophia Bampoh, MD, has been appointed as a vascular medicine specialist with the Heart, Vascular and Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Weston Hospital.
Board-certified in internal medicine and board-eligible in vascular medicine, Dr. Bampoh specializes in the treatment of patients with peripheral artery disease, fibromuscular dysplasia, abdominal aortic aneurysm, thoracic aortic aneurysm, lymphedema, venous insufficiency, carotid artery disease, pulmonary embolism,
and deep vein thrombosis. Her areas of expertise include performing and interpreting the full range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic tests, including Doppler ultrasonography, Duplex ultrasonography, and ABI.

Dr. Bampoh earned her medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and completed her residency in internal medicine at Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic in Florida, Dr. Bampoh completed a fellowship in vascular medicine at Vanderbilt University.
