2017 Medical Innovation Summit

Cleveland Clinic’s Medical Innovation Summit will bring together more than 100 speakers and leaders from more than 500 organizations and 20 countries to downtown Cleveland on Oct. 22 to 24, 2018, focusing on the theme of Disruption: Reimaging Healthcare.

Now in its 16th year, the annual Medical Innovation Summit is organized by Cleveland Clinic Innovations, the development and commercialization arm of Cleveland Clinic. This year’s summit will look beyond the walls of the hospital and explore innovative solutions for the transformation of healthcare.

The agenda includes 30 sessions and thought-provoking panels, as well as 1-on-1 discussions with top healthcare, industry and biotech leaders. Topics include: shifting digital health; technology in the primary care setting; a patient-centered drug market; med-tech’s future in a value-based world; women in health-tech; international insights, digital in healthcare investment forum and social networks and shared appointments.

Additionally, keynote speakers include Elisabeth Rosenthal, M.D., author of American Sickness; John Boehner, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives; and

Hackathon winners will be invited to the summit and many summit participants are expected to attend the Hackathon.
