UPDATE (3:45 p.m.): Medina Police have given the “all clear” at Medina Hospital and Medical Office Building and they are no longer on lockdown. All patients, visitors and employees are safe. We thank all first responders for their quick actions to ensure the safety of everyone at the Medina healthcare campus, as well as our Medina Hospital caregivers for their immediate response.

(2:35 p.m.) Police are on scene at Medina Hospital responding to a potential active shooter situation in the campus’ medical office building. Both the hospital and medical office building are currently on lockdown and we are advising no one travel to the Medina healthcare campus.
