London: Cleveland Clinic London (CCL), a leading non-profit healthcare provider opening from 2021, has announced that Renal Services (UK) Limited, the second largest independent provider of dialysis in the UK, will be delivering dialysis services at its central London hospital.
The collaboration will provide the highest quality of renal care for patients at Cleveland Clinic London’s facility at 33 Grosvenor Place, an eight-storey 325,000-square-foot building in central London, when the hospital opens in early 2022. Cleveland Clinic London’s first Outpatient Centre will precede the hospital, opening in Autumn 2021.
Renal Services (UK) Limited will provide expert renal nurses and the latest equipment and consumables to support dialysis at Cleveland Clinic London. There will be four dialysis rooms across the hospital. Acute or emergency needs will be managed by the Intensive Care Unit with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
Dr Brian Donley, CEO of Cleveland Clinic London comments: “We are excited to be bringing Cleveland Clinic’s patient-focused model of care to the UK, and with a superb track record in safety and quality, Renal Services will deliver the highest quality care to our patients requiring dialysis when the hospital opens in early 2022.”
Stefano Ciampolini, CEO and Founder of Renal Services comments: “We are familiar with Cleveland Clinic’s reputation as one of the most advanced and sophisticated healthcare systems, and look forward to a first-of-its-kind collaboration in the UK, where we can design and deliver a bespoke clinical service for patients requiring renal care.”
