Nine Cleveland Clinic Hospitals Earn ‘A’ Grades in Safety

Nine Cleveland Clinic hospitals, in addition to Ashtabula County Medical Center, received an “A” in the most recently published safety grades by the Leapfrog Group.

The following Cleveland Clinic hospitals earned A’s:

  • Akron General
  • Euclid Hospital
  • Fairview Hospital
  • Hillcrest Hospital
  • Main campus
  • Marymount Hospital
  • South Pointe Hospital
  • Union Hospital
  • Weston Hospital

The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization that measures the quality and safety of American healthcare. On Dec. 14, Leapfrog Group released its semi-annual safety grades associated with patient safety performance and practices. The grades represent up to 28 national performance measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the Leapfrog Hospital Survey and information from other supplemental data sources.
