LONDON: Cleveland Clinic London and WPA have reached an agreement that offers eligible plan members access to Cleveland Clinic London’s comprehensive medical and surgical services, with a focus on heart and vascular diseases, digestive diseases, neurosciences and orthopaedics. The organisations are working together to develop clinical pathways to guide the most appropriate care and offer seamless access to patients.
Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider, and has been recognised as the No. 2 hospital in the world by Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2021 list. London will be the newest location in Cleveland Clinic’s global footprint and the first in Europe, with the main hospital opening in central London in early 2022.
Cleveland Clinic London introduces a new doctor-led model of private care to London, with teams of specialists working together to deliver the best possible patient experience and clinical outcomes. The new London hospital will be one of the most digitally advanced in London, with fully electronic medical records and the latest clinical innovations including robot assisted surgery. The majority of consultants will work exclusively for Cleveland Clinic London for private work, whilst continuing their work with leading NHS teaching hospitals to combine Cleveland Clinic with the best of UK healthcare.
Eligible plan members can now be referred to Cleveland Clinic’s Portland Place Outpatient Centre, in the Harley Street Medical Area, which is equipped with the very latest facilities and technology.
