Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is pleased to welcome three board-certified cardiovascular specialists: Jenny Placido Disla, MD; Yasser Rodriguez, MD, MBA, FACC; and Morris Sasson, MD.

“We are very pleased Drs. Placido, Rodriguez and Sasson have joined our team of expert specialists at the Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute,” said Rodolfo J. Blandon, MD, MBA, President of Cleveland Clinic Weston. “Their knowledge and proficiency will help support the Institute’s mission to provide the highest level of cardiovascular patient care and exceptional outcomes for each patient.”

Jenny Placido Disla, MD, earned her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, and completed an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York. She went on to complete an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship at Atlantic Health System in New Jersey. Dr. Placido is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT. She holds professional memberships in the American Society of Echocardiography, the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography and the American College of Cardiology.

Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Yasser Rodriguez, MD, MBA, FACC, earned his medical degree from the University of Miami, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan. He went on to complete the cardiovascular disease fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and an electrophysiology fellowship at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Dr. Rodriguez has clinical interest in complex ablations and the management of implantable cardiac devices. He is a Fellow with the American College of Cardiology.

Upon earning hismedical degree from University of Panama in Panama City, Morris Sasson, MD, completed a research fellowship in minimally invasive surgery and a general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He went on to complete a vascular surgery fellowship at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Sasson is board-certified in general surgery and holds professional memberships in the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the South Florida Society of Vascular Surgery. He is the author of more than 50 peer-reviewed publications, manuscripts and oral presentations at national and international meetings. His clinical interests are focused on open vascular and endovascular surgery.
