To support Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute renovation and expansion, changes will be made to the entrance and traffic pattern used by patients to access the Cole Eye building.

The main entrance to the Cole Eye building located on Cole Drive via E. 105th Street will close on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, as construction begins on the project.

The temporary new entrance will be located at the east-side entrance of the Crile Building at 2042 E. 102nd Street. Valet services for Cole Eye will be located at this entrance Monday – Friday (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.).

Additional support and signage will be in place to help patients navigate to their appointments. Patients are asked to allow for additional travel time during construction.

Cole Eye Institute is one of the world’s most advanced eye centers. The expanded eye center will enable Cleveland Clinic to provide the best patient experience and improve the delivery of treatment for eye diseases. The new building and renovated facilities will allow Cleveland Clinic to serve more patients in need of eye care.

The expansion is expected to be complete at the end of 2025. Patient care will continue during construction.
