Mary Leslie Oberst, MD, and Hemali Patel, DO

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes cardiologist Mary Leslie Oberst, MD, and family medicine physician Hemali Patel, DO.

Upon earning her medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky, Mary Leslie Oberst, MD, completed the Internal Medicine Residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She went on to complete the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and an additional year of training in cardiovascular MRI at Texas Heart in Houston. Dr. Oberst is also highly trained in cardiac CT and advanced imaging.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, Dr. Oberst was Cardiology Director of Cardiac MRI and CT with Owensboro Health Hospital in Kentucky. She holds professional memberships in the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular CT and SCMR. Dr. Oberst is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Hemali Patel, DO, earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Inspira Health Network in New Jersey. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Patel has clinical interest in obesity medicine, diabetes management and women’s health.

Drs. Oberst and Patel are accepting new patients at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital’s Health and Wellness Center, 3450 11th Court in Vero Beach. Patients may schedule an appointment by calling 877.463.2010.
