Cleveland Clinic is unveiling new architectural renderings showcasing the inside of the Cleveland Clinic side of the Global Peak Performance Center, one year before providers begin seeing patients there in August 2027. In addition, Cleveland Clinic is sharing photos of the current progress inside the 210,000- square-foot facility – the future home of Cleveland Clinic’s next generation of sports medicine and performance care.

“Seeing the Global Peak Performance Center take shape is an exciting milestone for Cleveland Clinic and the future of sports medicine,” said Paul Saluan, M.D., director of Strategic Initiatives and Clinical Development for the Global Peak Performance Center. “This center will bring together the expertise, technology and data needed to help people recover from injury, perform at their best and maintain their health for the long term.”

The center will bring together Cleveland Clinic’s sports medicine expertise, performance science, research and advanced technology under one roof. Its multidisciplinary services will include orthopaedics, primary care sports medicine, physical therapy, rehabilitation, cardiology, nutrition, mental performance and exercise physiology.

A key component will be the use of performance data and advanced technologies to develop personalized recommendations focused on injury prevention, recovery and performance enhancement. Through Cleveland Clinic’s partnership with Sports Data Labs, the center also will leverage wearable technology and advanced analytics to better understand human performance.

The Global Peak Performance Center is expected to open in August 2027 and will serve athletes and active individuals of all ages and abilities.
