Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2023

Cleveland Clinic is named among top workplaces on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care™ 2023 list.

Cleveland Clinic ranked No. 29 among 40 companies in the large-company category. The annual list includes companies that demonstrate a positive employee experience, defined by high levels of trust, respect and pride, and other factors.

“We are honored to be recognized as a best workplace in healthcare,” said Kelly Hancock, DNP, Chief Caregiver Officer at Cleveland Clinic, and the holder of the Rich Family Chief Caregiver Chair.

“Our vision for Cleveland Clinic is to be the best place for care anywhere and the best place to work in healthcare,” Hancock said. “We are proud of our caregivers and the work they do every day. This recognition is a direct reflection of our commitment to listen to our caregivers’ feedback and develop programs and resources that support them, from career development opportunities to our robust benefit offerings.”

Fortune magazine partnered with Great Places to Work®, a global people analytics firm, to analyze feedback from more than 208,000 U.S. employees from Great Place to Work Certified™ companies in the healthcare industry.

According to Fortune, survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status or other demographic identifier.
