Cleveland Clinic Appoints Sarah Hatchett as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

Cleveland Clinic's Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Cleveland Clinic has appointed Sarah Hatchett as the new Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer (SVP, CIO), effective May 16. Hatchett has served as interim CIO since August 2023.

Hatchett has more than 20 years of experience in IT and healthcare leadership. During her time as Cleveland Clinic’s Associate Chief Information Officer, she oversaw Cleveland Clinic’s Enterprise Applications and Growth portfolio. Through her role, she has led IT integration at several hospitals joining the Cleveland Clinic system including Mercy, Martin Health and Indian River hospitals. She also led the Electronic Health Records Transformation program. As Division Administrator, she built the IT business office function and facilitated IT strategic plan development, successfully aligning supporting programs and processes.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, she held IT and healthcare leadership roles at NYC Health + Hospitals, Sutter Health and Epic. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Executive MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
