BEACHWOOD: Cleveland Clinic held a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to debut its new neurology outpatient space at its administrative campus in Beachwood, at 3050 Science Park Dr.

The event was attended by leaders and staff members from Cleveland Clinic, the City of Beachwood and the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce.

The Cleveland Clinic Medical Outpatient Center includes 22 outpatient exam rooms, 14 consultation rooms, 12 infusion chairs, and diagnostic technology, including magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, electromyography and optical coherence tomography, among others.

The center has created 50 new jobs in Beachwood.

Departments that will provide services at Cleveland Clinic Medical Outpatient Center, Beachwood, initially include:

  • Sleep
  • Neurological Restoration
  • Spine/Pain
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Psychiatry/Psychology
  • Brain Health
  • General Neurology/Neuromuscular issues
  • Cerebrovascular Care
  • Mellen Center for Multiple Sclerosis
  • Epilepsy

Patient appointments at the new location will begin on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

This new facility will augment the services that will be offered at Cleveland Clinic’s new state-of-the-art Neurological Institute that is being constructed on Main Campus. Set to open in February 2027, this will be the largest building on the Main Campus, with 1 million square feet, and will offer care for inpatients and outpatients, including intensive care units, who need treatment for diseases and conditions related to the brain.

“Neurological diseases are among the most significant health challenges of our time. They affect millions worldwide, often changing lives in profound ways,” said Andre Machado, M.D., Ph.D., chief of Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute. “A leading cause of illness and disability, and the second leading cause of death, neurological conditions touch 1 in 3 people during their lifetime, creating emotional and practical challenges for families and healthcare systems alike.”

“Cleveland Clinic’s caregiving team provides exceptional care today while advancing discoveries that bring hope for tomorrow, and this new facility is an important part of that mission,” said Jorge Guzman, M.D., president of Cleveland Clinic’s Northeast Ohio Market.

Beachwood Mayor Justin Berns said Cleveland Clinic’s dedication to advancing neurological medicine has already transformed lives, and this new center will build on that even further.

“This facility represents meaningful progress for patients and families across Northeast Ohio. By concentrating so many neurological services in one central, convenient location, the Cleveland Clinic is making care more accessible, more coordinated, and easier to navigate for patients, caregivers, and our residents,” he said.
