What: February is National Heart Health Awareness Month, and as part of our “Love Your Heart” campaign, Cleveland Clinic wants to help you stay active during the winter. On Saturday, February 11th, enjoy free ice skating and skate rentals, courtesy of Cleveland Clinic. Heart disease is the number one killer of Americans and exercise is an important part of keeping your heart healthy. Ice skating burns 300 to 650 calories per hour and also helps with endurance, flexibility and muscle strength!
When: Saturday, February 11th, noon to 5 P.M.
Who: Everyone is welcome
Where: Cleveland Foundation Skating Rink at Public Square, 100 West Superior Ave., Cleveland, OH 44113. Tickets are available in the admission and skate rental kiosk located just outside of the rink near the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument. Ice skate sizes from children’s 9 to adult size 13 are available.
