The Leapfrog Group is a national nonprofit organization that measures the quality and safety of American healthcare. On April 30, Leapfrog Group released its semi-annual safety grades associated with patient safety performance and practices. These grades represent a composite score of data from a voluntary, self-reported survey, as well as several publicly reported metrics — many of which align with Cleveland Clinic’s Enterprise Quality priorities.

While all hospitals have encountered new challenges and unfamiliar situations in recent months, Cleveland Clinic appreciates its caregivers for their persistence in providing compassionate care and reducing avoidable harm to patients. Cleveland Clinic thanks them for the level of quality, safety and patient experience in all care settings.
