Dr. Jacob Petrosky

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital welcomes Jacob A. Petrosky, MD. Dr. Petrosky is board-certified in surgery, specializing in bariatric surgery with a keen interest in the treatment of metabolic conditions associated with obesity.

Dr. Petrosky is now accepting new patients at the Health and Wellness Center, located at 3450 11th Court, Suite 204 in Vero Beach. Patients may schedule an appointment by calling 772.562.9899 or visit my.clevelandclinic.org/florida/web-appointments to request an appointment online.

Dr. Petrosky earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed the residency program at Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve. During his residency, Dr. Petrosky was recognized multiple times with the Caregiver Award for providing outstanding service and supporting a culture of service excellence. He completed the advanced laparoscopy, bariatric surgery fellowship program at Geisinger Medical Center.

He is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons and holds memberships in the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract; the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons; and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
