Cleveland Clinic London Appoints New Members to Executive Team

Cleveland Clinic London welcomes, Lindsey Condron, Rai Mughal and Abigail Stapleton to its executive team as Chief of Operations, Chief Information Officer, and Executive Director of International Strategy, respectively. Appointments follow the successful opening of Cleveland Clinic London hospital in March 2022, as the enterprise continues to strengthen its footprint across the London healthcare market.

Lindsey Condron, Chief of Operations, Cleveland Clinic London

Lindsey Condron joined Cleveland Clinic London, also in October 2022, from King Edward VII’s Hospital where she initially held the position of Director of Operations, before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2018. Prior to that she has worked in senior-level operations roles both in the NHS and private sector.

At Cleveland Clinic London, Lindsey has executive accountability for ensuring optimal utilisation, productivity, and efficiency of all patient activity across the organisation and business operations, which include Patient Support Services, Supply Chain Management, Protective Services and Estates and Facilities.

Rai Mughal, Chief Information Officer, Cleveland Clinic London

Rai Mughal transitioned into the role of Chief Information Officer for London, and Associate Chief Information Officer for the Cleveland Clinic enterprise, on 1 December. He previously served as Cleveland Clinic London’s Director of IT PMO. In his new role, Rai will oversee the global IT function on the Executive Team in London.

Rai joined Cleveland Clinic London from Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in March 2016, where he steered complex and large-scale healthcare IT projects to support the opening of Cleveland Clinic’s Abu Dhabi hospital. Since joining Cleveland Clinic London, Rai has played a critical role in establishing the organization’s IT infrastructure that helps to enable Cleveland Clinic London’s world-class patient care and experience.

Abigail Stapleton, Executive Director of International Strategy, Cleveland Clinic London

Appointed Executive Director of International Strategy in October 2022, Abigail previously served as Cleveland Clinic London’s Director of Business Development and Strategy. In her new role, Abigail oversees Cleveland Clinic London’s Strategy Office that brings together caregivers in the strategy, business development, projects, and analytics teams to drive the development and implementation of Cleveland Clinic London’s collective growth ambitions.

In addition to this role, Abigail serves as a member of the Enterprise Strategy Leadership team responsible for supporting the development of the wider international strategy for Cleveland Clinic.
