Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital

Indian River County is conducting a multi-phase intersection improvement project beginning Monday, August 21, to add a traffic signal to the corner of 37th St. and 11th Dr. (Hugh McCrystal Dr.) and widen the lanes of 11th Dr.

During this time, access to 11th Dr. south of 37th St. will be closed to traffic. This closure will affect access to the west side of Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital (CCIRH) and locations such as the Emergency Department, Patient Pavilion, Rosner Family Health and Wellness Center, Vero Medical Office Building (VMOB) and other surrounding buildings.

Alternate routes to enter the CCIRH campus are (see photo below):

  • 36th St. from US 1
  • 15th Ave. from 37th St.
  • The main hospital entrance at 37th St. and 10th Ct.

Please note the intersection at 11th Dr. and 36th St. will remain open to access the CCIRH Emergency Department and Patient Pavilion.

Access to 11th Dr. is projected to reopen in early 2024.
