In Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2024, Cleveland Clinic was ranked No. 2. Newsweek describes the designation as hospitals that stand out for their use of electronic functionalities, telemedicine, digital imaging, artificial intelligence and robotics.

In the World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2024, Cleveland Clinic ranked in the top 5 in 9 specialties, including cardiac surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonology and urology.

Newsweek added obstetrics and gynecology as a new ranking this year. Cleveland Clinic ranked No. 3 in that specialty.
