Cleveland Clinic has appointed Jamanda Haddock, MA, MRCP, FRCR, as Chief of Staff for Cleveland Clinic London, effective Oct. 1. Dr. Haddock joined Cleveland Clinic as a radiologist and chair of hospital services in 2018.

As Chief of Staff for Cleveland Clinic London, Dr. Haddock will provide oversight of all Office of Professional Staff Affairs operations within the London market and will be accountable for overall performance across the market, including safety, quality and patient experience standards, number of patients served and compliance metrics.

“Jamanda is a tremendous physician leader with expertise in research, education and quality patient care metrics,” said Beri Ridgeway, M.D., Cleveland Clinic Enterprise Chief of Staff. “Her leadership experience and clinical excellence will help shape the London market and further expand Cleveland Clinic’s unique model of care to global patients.”

Dr. Haddock expanded her responsibilities by serving as the London Associate Chief of Staff. Dr. Haddock also served as the London interim Chief of Staff for several months while the search for the president took place earlier this year. Dr. Haddock currently serves as clinical associate professor of radiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.

“It is a privilege to be appointed Chief of Staff in London, and I am grateful for the learning opportunities that I have experienced since joining Cleveland Clinic in 2018.” said Dr. Haddock. “I am excited to build on what we have achieved so far, collaborate alongside caregivers throughout our health system and continue to refine our services in London.”

Dr. Haddock trained at Oxford University and St. Thomas’ Hospital London. She was a consultant radiologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust from 1994-2019 and is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists. From 2012-2018, Dr. Haddock was lead clinician for imaging services at the Wellington Hospital and a consultant on the medical advisory committee. From 2004-2011, she was clinical director for radiology and nuclear medicine at the Royal Free, where she also served as a member of the clinical advisory board.

Dr. Haddock’s role has a matrix reporting structure to Rob Lorenz, M.D., President of Cleveland Clinic London, and Beri Ridgeway, M.D., Cleveland Clinic Enterprise Chief of Staff.

Dr. Haddock succeeds Tommaso Falcone, M.D., who has been in the position since 2018 and will now return to the United States. Falcone was the first Chief of Staff in London and successfully led efforts from hospital development through the hospital’s opening.
