Cleveland Clinic London Will Be Accepting AXA Health Members

LONDON: Cleveland Clinic London and AXA Health have reached an agreement to offer eligible AXA Health members access to Cleveland Clinic London’s comprehensive medical and surgical services, with a focus on heart and vascular, digestive disease, neurosciences and orthopaedics. The organisations are working together on new models of service delivery.

Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider, and has been recognised as the No. 2 hospital in the world by Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2021 list. London will be the newest location in Cleveland Clinic’s global footprint and the first in Europe, with the main hospital opening in central London in early 2022. Beginning in autumn 2021, eligible plan members can be referred to Cleveland Clinic London’s Portland Place Outpatient Centre, in the Harley Street Medical Area. It is equipped with the latest facilities and technology.

Feb. 26 marked the beginning of Cleveland Clinic’s centennial year. Founded in 1921, Cleveland Clinic has grown into a 6,000-bed health system that includes a 173-acre main campus near downtown Cleveland, Ohio, 19 hospitals, more than 220 outpatient facilities, and locations in Ohio, southeast Florida, Las Vegas, Toronto, Abu Dhabi and London.

As a global leader, Cleveland Clinic consultants and nurses work as a multidisciplinary team with the patient at the centre of care. Cleveland Clinic’s integrated healthcare delivery system, takes on the most complex patients across the world, integrating clinical and hospital care with a focus research and education. As part of its agreement with AXA Health, UK and international affiliates and partners of AXA Health will have access to Cleveland Clinic London’s world-class services.

Cleveland Clinic London welcomes bookings from eligible members covered through all major domestic and international insurers and will work collaboratively with other health insurers.

About Cleveland Clinic London Cleveland Clinic London hospital opens in early 2022. It will have 184 inpatient beds, including 29 ICU beds; eight operating rooms; a full imaging suite; endoscopy and cardiac

catheterisation laboratories; day case rooms for surgery; and a full neurological suite with rehabilitation. In addition to comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic services, it will offer orthopaedics, digestive diseases, urology, neurosciences, ear, nose, and throat, general surgery, general practice and executive health.
