Find the Faculty Role That’s Right for You

Whether you are currently a faculty member with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University (CCLCM) or you wish to become involved with CCLCM, you can use the new faculty roles app to explore available faculty roles that are right for you.

The app allows you to filter by:

• General area (e.g., Admissions, Curriculum, Student Assessment/Advising/Promotion)
• Role type (e.g., Basic Science, Humanities, Research)
• Duration/frequency
• Whether or not the role requires direct student contact

When you click on a role, you’ll see a full description, list of responsibilities and time commitment. Roles that are greyed out are currently filled.

You can also see which of your colleagues are serving or have served as faculty for that particular role so that you can connect with them if you have questions. A contact person is listed for each role, and you can send a question to them directly from the app. As well, you can search by institute to see a list of roles for which your institute colleagues currently serve as faculty.

Although some roles are by appointment, others roles are filled by request.

Use the faculty roles app if you are looking to begin or expand your involvement with CCLCM, and before you engage in your APR conversation to help frame a discussion about your educational goals for the year ahead.
