Stephen V. Avallone, MD, FACP, PE, has been appointed Regional Medical Director of Concierge Medicine for Cleveland Clinic Florida as the program adds a fourth location in West Palm Beach.
Dr. Avallone joins Cleveland Clinic Florida from the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine where he served as Director of UHealth Premier, the Concierge Medicine and Executive Physicals Programs. During his time at UHealth, Dr. Avallone was recognized as one of the top 25 Concierge Medicine physicians in the United States by Concierge Medicine Today and he has been recognized as an expert in the field of academic medical center concierge medicine.
A board-certified internist, Dr. Avallone began his medical career at Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Weston campus in 2003 and served in a variety of leadership positions for 15 years. During his tenure, Dr. Avallone served as Medical Director, Cleveland Clinic Florida Huizenga Executive Health Department, Co-director of Outpatient Internal Medicine, and Core Faculty for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He also served as an International Medical Consultant for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Avallone earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2000 and completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2003. He currently serves as a medical officer at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Homestead Air Reserve Base in Homestead, FL.
Prior to his transition to medicine, Dr. Avallone was a civil engineer in the United States Coast Guard having received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in 1987, and a Master of Science in engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1993. He maintains licensure as a professional engineer in the state of Florida.
This April the Cleveland Clinic Florida Concierge Medicine Program will open its doors to its fourth Florida location. This newest location, on 1515 North Flagler Drive, Suite 240 West Palm Beach, FL 33401 joins those already established in Fort Lauderdale, Stuart and Vero Beach.
Cleveland Clinic Florida Concierge Medicine members receive comprehensive and coordinated care, extended appointments with a personal physician, and direct physician communication available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including support and coordination of care even when traveling for business or pleasure. Same day or next day appointments, minimized wait times, and seamless referral management are additional member benefits of the Concierge Medicine program.
