The James S. Winshall, MD, [MED ‘92] Memorial Award, given to graduating medical students entering primary care who are distinguished with superlative clinical and interpersonal skills

Ellen Brinza
The Alfred S. Maschke Award, presented to a graduating medical student who demonstrated excellence in the art and practice of medicine

Emily Durbak
The Myron F. Kanter and Lawrence J. Kanter Endowment Fund Award, presented to the outstanding graduating student enrolled in the School of Medicine specializing in cardiology or cardiovascular surgery

Sophia Figueroa Katz
The Senior Award in Excellence in Pediatrics Sponsored by Cleveland Clinic Children’s and the Pediatric Institute, presented to a graduating student who demonstrated an outstanding performance in pediatrics

Maxwell Lee
The Northeast Ohio Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Society Scholar Award (NEOHNS Medical Student Award), given to graduating students at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University who have a serious interest in otolaryngology and who have demonstrated excellence in their medical school studies

The American Academy of Neurology award, presented to a graduating student who excelled in neurology throughout their clinical years at Cleveland Clinic

Metabel Markwei
The Gita Gidwani, M.D. Award for Obstetricians and Gynecologists Cleveland Clinic, presented to a graduating student who most exemplifies integrity, compassion and hard work in recognition of Dr. Gita Gidwani, the first female surgeon at Cleveland Clinic

CCLCM Student Affairs Dean’s Award, presented to a graduating CCLCM student who demonstrated outstanding contributions to the Admissions and Student Affairs Office

The Senior Award for Excellence in Psychiatry Sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, presented to the graduating medical student who demonstrated excellence in the Basic Core Psychiatry Clerkship at Cleveland Clinic

Spencer Seballos
The Alfred S. Maschke Award, presented to a graduating medical student who demonstrated excellence in the art and practice of medicine

Megan Sheehan
The John Phillips Award, presented to a graduating student for an outstanding performance in the field of internal medicine

Alexia Zagouras
The Andrew J. Fishleder, MD, Leadership Award, awarded to a graduating Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine student who demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities during medical school

The Ohio Chapter of the American College of Physicians Award, given to the graduating medical student identified by each Ohio school as the most qualified candidate with the highest Internal Medicine/Internal Medicine subspecialty clerkship and elective average who exemplifies the internal medicine physician

Ryan Zhang
The Senior Award for Excellence in Neuroscience Sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute, presented to a graduating student who demonstrated excellence in the Basic Core Neuroscience Clerkship at Cleveland Clinic. The student demonstrated the qualities and characteristics of an empathic clinician using their training and clinical acumen to put “Patients First.”
