Newsweek has ranked Cleveland Clinic Weston as the highest ranked hospital in South Florida and 45th best in the nation, as part of its Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2023 analysis published on March 1, 2023. The Weston Hospital also ranked 2nd in Florida.
Cleveland Clinic is ranked as the No. 2 hospital in the world again and No. 2 in the United States.
The rankings are based on four data sources: online surveys of more than 80,000 medical experts from around the world; results from publicly available patient experience surveys; hospital quality metrics; and patient reported outcome measures (PROMs), completed by patients to measure their perception of functional well-being and quality of life.

The 2022-2023 U.S. News rankings marked the 28th consecutive year that Cleveland Clinic was ranked No. 1 for heart care, while also being the 24rd consecutive year that Cleveland Clinic ranked as one of the nation’s Top 5 hospitals.
Locally, Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Weston Hospital again earned the top spot as the No. 1 hospital in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area for 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report. It was the fifth consecutive year the Weston Hospital earned the top ranking, and it is the only hospital to be ranked #1 for five straight years in South Florida.
