LONDON: Cleveland Clinic London and the Jordanian Nursing Council have signed a letter of understanding to facilitate a process to screen and hire qualified Jordanian nurses who successfully register with the United Kingdom’s Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Under this agreement, qualified and registered nurses with the Jordanian Nursing Council (JNC) and the UK’s Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) will be able to apply for roles at Cleveland Clinic London.
The official signing ceremony took place at Cleveland Clinic London Hospital on Tuesday, 8 April. Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein, Chairman of the JNC, and Rob Lorenz, M.D., President of Cleveland Clinic London, formalised the agreement, marking this milestone for bilateral collaboration and driving excellence in healthcare.
“This agreement represents a shared vision to advancing world-class healthcare by fostering international collaboration in developing resources with great global demand: nursing caregivers,” Dr. Lorenz said.
“Through strengthening relationships across healthcare borders, we can create opportunities for knowledge exchange, drive innovation, and enhance patient care,” said Sheila Miller, Chief Nursing Officer at Cleveland Clinic London.
The signing ceremony provided an opportunity to explore Cleveland Clinic London’s cutting-edge technology and facilities and learn about the education and training opportunities the clinic offers.
