Cleveland Clinic Appoints Abigail Stapleton as Chief Commercial Officer of Cleveland Clinic London

CLEVELAND and LONDON: Cleveland Clinic has promoted Abigail Stapleton as Chief Commercial Officer of Cleveland Clinic London, effective immediately. She had been serving as executive director of international strategy at Cleveland Clinic London since 2022.

In her new role, Stapleton is responsible for the commercial functions of Cleveland Clinic London, including strategy, business development, patient access for the UK and internationally, marketing, public relations and data analytics.

Her leadership has been pivotal in strengthening our business strategy, expanding our partnerships, and ensuring that Cleveland Clinic London continues to deliver on its promise of world-class care to patients,” said Rob Lorenz, M.D., Cleveland Clinic London President. “She has demonstrated remarkable drive and commitment in helping us achieve strong results while building trusted relationships across the healthcare and business communities.”

In her prior role, Stapleton was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in the UK and international markets.

Stapleton brings more than 15 years of experience across the private and public healthcare sectors in the UK. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic London, she was executive director of strategy and commercial businesses and a board member of Kings College Hospital Trust. She also worked at Bupa, a multinational health insurance and healthcare company, for several years across its U.K. businesses.

Cleveland Clinic London provides specialized medical care and cutting-edge technology in a patient-centered environment. The hospital opened in 2022 and has two outpatient centres, Cleveland Clinic London provides a wide range of medical, surgical, and diagnostic services. Recently, Cleveland Clinic London announced the expansion of clinical services with the construction of a new cancer treatment centre at 40 Grosvenor Place, with completion anticipated by the end of 2027.
