Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, Fairhill

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday for Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital, Fairhill. This is the fourth rehabilitation hospital to be opened by Cleveland Clinic in partnership with Select Medical.

The 32-bed, all-private-room facility, located within the Select Specialty Hospital at 11900 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, will provide specialized rehabilitation services for patients with complex injuries and illnesses. It will use an individualized approach to care, incorporating medical oversight, rehabilitation nursing, advanced technologies, and therapies to improve mobility, cognition and self-care skills.

Led by a board-certified physiatrist, the multidisciplinary care team includes rehabilitation nurses, therapists, speech pathologists, pharmacists, case managers and other specialists as needed.

This facility joins the three other Cleveland Clinic rehabilitation hospital locations ‒ Avon, Beachwood and Edwin Shaw in Bath Township ‒ and is part of Select Medical's national network of more than 30 medical rehabilitation hospitals. It will start admitting patients later this month.
