Cleveland Clinic is named among top workplaces on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care™ 2024 list.

Cleveland Clinic ranked No. 37 among 45 companies in the large-company category. The annual list includes companies that demonstrate a positive employee experience defined by high levels of trust, respect and pride, and other factors.

“We are honored to be recognized as one of the best workplaces in healthcare,” said Kelly Hancock, DNP, RN, Executive Vice President and Chief Caregiver Officer at Cleveland Clinic and the holder of the Rich Family Chief Caregiver Chair. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our caregivers and our commitment to supporting them through various career development opportunities and comprehensive health benefits. We value our caregivers’ feedback, which helps us continue to improve and invest in their growth and well-being.”

Fortune partnered with Great Places to Work®, a global people analytics firm, to analyze feedback from more than 185,000 U.S. employees from Great Place to Work Certified™ companies in the healthcare industry.

According to Fortune, the list rankings are based on this employee feedback, which is analyzed to determine the extent to which this experience is shared by the full workforce. Great Places to Work measures the differences in survey responses across demographic groups and roles within each organization to assess both the quality and consistency of the employee experience. Statements are weighted according to their relevance in describing the most important aspects of an equitable workplace.
